march 2023 elected nature photographer of the year vereniging Natuurfotografen Nijmegen.
To my surprise, three of my submitted photos won prizes. 3rd prize Marco (butterflies), 2nd prize animals (viper) and 1st place in the abstract category with the wing of the dragonfly.
After this, the members of the association were allowed to vote for the "best" photo of the category winners and my photo of the dragonfly photo was chosen as the winner. With that I have been named nature photographer of the year of this beautiful association.
